Description

Ritual worship of Lord Vishnu or Sri Satya Narayan Puja is usually performed on a monthly full moon day or Purnima, or as a special thanksgiving to the Hindu Trinity God, a special occasion such as milestone achievement or wish fulfillment. It is done on occasion. The Hindu months of Kartik, Vaisav, Shravan and Chaitra are ideal for this ritual. It is also found on new moon days and Sankranti (the beginning or end of the Hindu month).
